| | None mom would kill me | ] | Things as of recent have been going decently well. Overall the move of Erin here went smoothly, only got cut off by trucks a few times. And everything kind of fits in this tiny ass room, including us on the bed. Honestly I couldn't imagine being any happier then I am having her around all day. Work schedules have of late put a cramp in the amount of time we get to spend together but we seem to do ok, and I always try to make sure we have plenty of trips to various places to get out of the house and do things. I hate not really doing anything, especially when there's someone else around as well. I am completely in love with her, and it's just amazing. I've come to rely greatly on having her around everyday, which normally would be a bad thing for me to let happen, but I'm just going with it for now. Blind faith and optimism I suppose, only recently has there been a major impasse, but I -think- it's mostly fixed, time will tell. Anyway, that's Sean's status update, you -might- catch me now and again if I'm not working on spending time with Erin ;) |

| | Radio, whatever is playing | ] | So I turned 21, had a good birthday I'd say, better then a lot of them. Not quite as exciting a year as I'd have thought, but I guess it's cool I get an extra privledge if I choose to exercise it.
No more Texas, though if you can't go to it, bring it to you right? Working on getting Erin here for the summer, and see what happens from there. I try to take plans on step at a time.
Also, can't wait to start back to work. Need something to regulate my schedule, and provide me a solid sleep pattern which has just utterly gone to shit recently even by my standards. It's not even like there's things to do and places to go to make up for being awake so much.
That about all the update I have the stomach for, I've been blah a lot lately *shrug* Maybe I need Dan and Dave to slap me really hard or something. |

| | None since it's all on the HDD sitting over there | ] | Christmas this year wasn't too bad, saw almost all the family. Had to make extra effort to see my dad and Melissa since their family is still getting past PopPop Snyder passing. I know it meant a whole lot to them for me to spend more of the holiday with them then usual. As far as my blood relatives, same old stuff. Dad's side is cheerful as usual with minimal problems between them. Mom's side is a bit more on the dysfunctional side with mom and Aunt Lisa getting into an argument over dishes (my mom couldn't even dry right), but their dinners were good. As far as loot I got $350 cash, $100 to the mall, $25 to Sears, and $15 to Wawa. Also, mom put $100 in my mutual fund that will eventually help me retire yay! I still have things coming to me from Erin, now if I could only figure out what everything is...ah well just over a week and a half until I'm there again.
I miss her a lot, though there will be visits up until the summer, past that I'll be tied to a kitchen like last year when you all rarely heard from me due to my long hours and habitual wanderings around the area. Maybe if she could wriggle free from work at some point she could visit during the summer, but that's really the only chance until after the season slows down.
At the end of the summer if all goes according to plan we'll be able to move somewhere together and then there won't be anymore problems with distance :D
I have supreme confidence we can make it until then.
^~~ See, it works for me...not necessarily for other people. |

| | Erin's TV | ] | My time in Texas is almost at an end, it's been quite an education in the glory that is Victoria. The excitement is minimal, at least I have Erin for entertainment. I figured my LJ was long overdue for an update so I'll tell about Mexico! Now, Mexico is a glorious place if you like to fulfill self destructive habits cheaply. They have tax free cigarettes and liquor. I got a 1.14L bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced for $9.10 after paying Texas state tax. Also, I found good Tequila. Yes, it exists. It isn't painful to drink like Cuervo :D It's called "Sauza: Hacienda" Hmm, I'm hungry time to eat something, until later kiddos.

| | Lacuna Coil - To Live Is to Hide | ] | Well, I must say that I'm completely exhausted, but oddly contented.
So, determinations made on the trip, most of the country is really boring, especially such standouts as Alabama and Kansas/Missouri/Iowa (take your pick, they all blend together really) and it's perfectly ok to walk a dog in nothing but sweatpants...in Wisconsin. And not seeing daylight for a week is perfectly acceptable.
Manos: The Hands of Fate, I don't know at what you point during the filming you think to yourself "Wow, this movie really fucking sucks..." ACTION! Thankfully, MST3K provide some interesting commentary, however the nightgown smackdown was very...interesting.
Air beds, do not provide proper support...for much of anything, and the constant reinflating was a chore, not as bothersome as other constant reinflating *mutter*
The winner of the most comfortable bed I've ever had the pleasure of resting in goes to Erin's bed, so comfy. Probably the best sleep I got on the trip, when I did sleep.
And yes, I miss Erin, and will now recommencing running up a $30 text message bill, unless I just use the phone more often. |

| | Hopesfall - Only the Clouds | ] | So, I sit here, at almost 1am, packing, and loading up the car, why because I'm an asshole. I accomplished everything I wanted to except oil change, print the directions, and get to bed on time. Still not too bad.
The movie "Saw" was ok, nothing spectacular, but not bad for an evening. I wouldn't buy or rent, but it's still solid I guess. Just be prepared for a mind fuck at the end, that Dan and I (were sick, sick people) found amusing.
Tomorrow morning, I'm proudly voting Kerry. I was a member of the "Anyone but Bush" campaign, but now it's amended to "Anyone but Bush...with a chance of beating him". So I'm going to register my vote for the democrats this year, and hope that the Flip-flop can defeat Huked on Foniks.
So, I'm almost done with getting ready for this trip, and I can't wait really. I'm expecting it to be quite a lot of fun, and also who knows what could stem in it's aftermath. I think there's 2 movies planned, if there's any kind of evening life there, I'll explore that too. But for now I'd be happy snowed in the entire time.
Fuck, I have to finish these preparation lest I slack into doing it when I'm supposed to be leaving. I'll be back in 2 weeks (give or take) everyone, au revoir and I'll miss you all. |

| | And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Totally Natural | ] | So, on the eve of leaving for the trip here's what I needed to do today vs. what I've accomplished, it nowing being shortly after 5:30.
Accomplished: Wake up Get dressed Acquire oil, filter, and engine restore Find a cooler Take Dan to Kmart
Left to do:
Actually change oil (flashlights baby) Put things in said cooler Pack Go to the gym for the last time in a while See the movie "Saw" or See Saw, get it...no probably not. Print out directions Go to sleep on time, and wake up to vote.
And yes, I will wake up on time because my mom will be getting me up and there is nothing quite as irritating to me as the sound of her voice so I'm sure to answer the phone quickly to try to make it go away.
Also to note, the apprehension and anxiety has yet to hit me, that'll probably arise somewhere circa walking up to the first door.
Time to eat my last mom cooked meal for a while, not that I eat that many to begin with, but it means a lot to her so I'm going to enjoy it. |

| | Chevelle - Closure | ] | This week has gone entirely too slow, however only 5 more days until the trip rolls out of Dodge (in a Dodge hehe) (Shut up, Dan would appreciate it). At least liberal use of my cell phone has made it go quicker, always a plus. Seeing how often I normally talk on the phone, consider it a small miracle I end up on it for that long.
I like it, it's good. Don't know where the road will go, but I'm determined to follow it.
Work's practically done, today I worked an amazing 15 minutes, made two orders, one being my own breakfast. Oh well, it's much more interesting to talk or play games then to stand around in the kitchen so I'll count my blessings. The staff is now 4 people, and we don't even need all of them at any one time. Sadness.
I quit, I have land to crush under my heel. Julii 4 life.
Now I feel dirty. |
